I've been a bad, bad blogger! I'm sorry its been so long since I last posted, but unlike many of the women I deeply admire, I cannot confess to be a "Super Woman" like them. My days have been filled with the usual hysteria but now on top of it all is the added bonus of holiday shopping, baking and mostly visiting my children's schools for a variety of holiday-themed music-shares, winter band performances, chorus concerts and parties, parties, and more parties. While I'm a huge fan of the winter holidays I must admit by the end of the day I have very little thought-power for much more than Daily Show reruns and a mug of peppermint tea (Educated Plate Hint: Peppermint tea is great for relaxing the stomach and spirit)! Too many nights I am awaken to my husband gently pulling my eyeglasses off my sleeping face and turning off my bed side lamp. I can only promise to you that come the new year I'll be back in full force with lots of new and hopefully thoughtful (that is if my brain ever turns back on again) suggestions for your family's continued good health and eating. Until then I wish you all a very happy and safe holiday season.
